Crockpot Clam Chowder
1 stick butter
1 minced onion
2 cans mushrooms, drained and finely chopped
2 cans cream of potato soup
2 cans cream of celery soup
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
2 (6 1/2-ounce) cans minced clams, drained well
1 quart half-and-half
Melt butter in crockpot. Add all ingredients except half-and-half. Mix well. Slowly stir in the half-and-half and let cook for at least 6 hours.
Makes 12 to 14 servings.
Per serving: 320 calories, 4 g protein, 18 g carbohydrate, 12 g fat, 55 mg cholesterol, 2 g fiber, 1,400 mg sodium.
